How to find and transmit your ".tax" file prepared with StudioTax 2013

At the Ready to file page, read and agree to the terms and conditions. Confirm that the CRA has your current personal information on file. This will bring you to the NETFILE transmission page.

Scroll down to Step 2 - Attaching a return

Note: In Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP, when you are looking for your ".tax" file, make sure you are looking in the same user account that you prepared and saved the return.

Note: Make sure that your system is not set up to hide file extensions, or you may have difficulty finding the correct file to send to the CRA. Also, do not try to open these files, as they are not intended to be opened in standard programs and will not be readable. If you open them, you risk making changes that could cause your return to be altered or rejected by our systems.
